Heathens face Leicester in the first leg of the semi-final with the return at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena the following Saturday (5.30) as the first part of a double header. And club bosses have acknowledged the extra travel for most Anchor Logistics fans by reducing adults prices by £3 and concessions by £1.

Co-promoter Nigel Pearson said: “It’s not ideal having to stage the semi-final in Birmingham because Cradley fans have a trickier journey, so we felt it was only right to reduce admission.

“We also hope the cut-price admission is attractive to Leicester and Birmingham fans and once again we offer our sincere thanks to Peter and David Mason along with Laurence Rogers for their help and support in accommodating us.

“We know how hard the task is going to be to get the better of a wonderful team in Leicester, they didn’t finish top of the table by fluke. We can also confirm Leicester are working on an incentive to allow Cradley fans to get to the second leg. We have made our feelings known that Cradley fans weren’t happy about admission details for the restaging of our league meeting there and the Leicester management fully understand and acknowledge that.

“Hopefully we can bring everyone details very soon.”

Heathens fans are reminded season tickets are not valid for play-offs or the Golden Hammer on October 28.
