Dislocated shoulder: Kyle Howarth is out

Parrys International Wolves have propelled themselves into contention in determined style, helped by Ipswich slipping up along the way.

Now they have a great opportunity to secure what seemed like an unlikely spot in the end-of-season title battle.

Boss Peter Adams said: “It’s never easy going to Poole, but we’ll go down there with a positive attitude.

“With this and our trip to Peterborough on September 17, we have an opportunity to make it into the play-offs.

“It’s something we know we can do but we aren’t taking it for granted, we are going to have to work hard to get there. We’ll need to be on form in every department to win at Poole, but we are going there to get something out of the meeting.”

Wolves and Belle Vue are level on 38 points, just a point behind Ipswich, who also have two meetings remaining.

Even a point at Poole would be a massive shot in the arm for Wolverhampton, who will be without Kyle Howarth, who dislocated his shoulder at the weekend.

Poole: Brady Kurtz, Nico Covatti, Nicolai Klindt, Josh Grajczonek, Jack Holder, Tomas H Jonasson, Ricky Wells.

Wolverhampton: Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth R/R, Rory Schlein, Nick Morris, Jacob Thorssell, Ryan Douglas, Luke Becker.
