Wolverhampton Wolves look to overhaul Swindon at new circuit
Wolverhampton head to the new Abbey Stadium circuit for the very first time tonight (7.30pm) to face Swindon – the team they are level on points with in the Premiership.
Parrys International Wolves are now on a run of three fixtures unbeaten after an improved spell for the side, but were left frustrated when they dropped points in a draw at home to Ipswich on Monday.
And while it will be a first experience of the newly-sized Blundson track for the Monmore men, Aussie ace Sam Masters is looking forward to the challenge.
“It’s going to be different that’s for sure,” he said.
“We’ve heard a few good things about it and at the end of the day it’s another meeting and they’re another team there to be beaten. We’re starting to race a bit more regularly now which I think will be good for us and Swindon are right by us in the table so hopefully we can go there and get something.”
Swindon: Jason Doyle, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, Rasmus Jensen, Troy Batchelor, Ellis Perks, Claus Vissing.
Wolverhampton: Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Jacob Thorssell, Nick Morris, Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Luke Becker.
