Adams’ side produced an impressive all-round display with all six of Wolves’ riders contributing at least one race win apiece

And he reckons it could be a crucial result as the race for a top-four finish hots up. He said: “I think everybody dug deep and the whole team did really well.

“To restrict Swindon to one solitary heat advantage, which came in the very last race of the night I should add, tells you everything you need to know.

“We were dominant right from the start, we kept the pressure on throughout the meeting and it was a fully merited win.

“We had to be mindful that Swindon have got some quality riders and, while we never felt too much pressure, we could never really relax until the latter stages. That more-or-less rules them out of a top-four finish I would think.”
