Legendary Wolverhampton Speedway brothers Peter Karlsson and Mikael Max have been forced to switch their appearance at a city pub to the summer.

It means the duo, who were firm favourites with Monmore fans, won’t be at the Cleveland Arms on Sunday.

They will now make the journey from their Swedish home on Thursday, July 19 – the start of the Caridff weekend and the British Grand Prix – to meet fans and talk about their glittering careers at the Stow Heath Lane venue.

The switch has been made due to concerns over travel in Sweden and the duo, along with the organisers, have taken the decision now to minimise any inconvenience.

Peter Karlsson said: “We apologise for any inconvenience but we are now both coming over in July and we are going to go to Cardiff for the Grand Prix as well.

“It will be a great way for everyone to start the Cardiff weekend by coming to see us at the Cleveland Arms and we look forward to seeing everyone. We’d like to thank those who have already bought tickets.”

Tickets already purchased are valid for the new date and anyone who hasn’t purchased can do so via clevelandarms.com or by visiting the venue or call 01902 451021. Any ticket holders who cannot make the July 19 date can contact the venue for a refund.
