Rory Schlein on the attack for Wolverhampton Wolves for speedway decider
Wolverhampton speedway star Rory Schlein insists the team will be attacking from the off in tonight’s Premiership play-off semi-final decider at Belle Vue (7.30).
Wolves hold a 13-point lead ahead of their trip to the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester, thanks to a determined 51-38 first leg success at home on Monday.
And despite being without Swedish charger Jacob Thorssell, who suffered a broken bone in his lower back in that meeting, Schlein has told how the game-plan won’t be changed by the Monmore men.
“Although we were a little disappointed it wasn’t a few more, 13 points is a pretty good advantage in any two-legged match,” Schlein said.
“People go on about defending the lead you’ve got, but we’re being ultra positive and we know we’ve got to attack it. We all know our jobs and what we need to do for the team and we’re feeling good.”
