It’s turned out to be a disappointing season for the Motor Market Heathens who have suffered a number of injuries to key riders along the way, consequently seeing them miss out on the National League’s top four for the first time since 2011.

It’s been a testing couple of months for everyone connected with the club but Harris is keen to help Cradley finish the campaign on a positive note.

“Of course we wanted to reach the play-offs and win the league because we had high hopes with the team that we’d got,” said Harris.

“The majority of supporters have stuck by us and encouraged us along the way and we owe them a win after a tough couple of weeks.”

Vice-captain Richard Hall, who bagged a stunning maximum on his last outing at Perry Barr, and key reserve Conor Dwyer return to the Heathens’ line-up. Popular guest Connor Coles is handed another booking at No.1.
