Wolverhampton Wolves arrange new date for Poole Pirates clash
Wolverhampton have moved quickly to arrange a new date for their SGB Premiership clash with Poole at Monmore.
The sides will now do battle on Monday, July 17, following the postponement of their Bank Holiday Monday meeting due to adverse weather conditions.
Parrys International Wolves chief Chris Van Straaten said: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Poole for their co-operation in establishing a new date so quickly.
“It was disappointing to lose Monday to the weather and we now look forward to welcoming everyone back to Monmore this coming Monday when we are in cup action against King’s Lynn.
“It’s important we build up a big lead to take to King’s Lynn for the return.”
Cradley Heathens will announce a date for their rearranged National League clash with Belle Vue in due course.
