Perry has returned to the Heathens, where he started his career in 2010, after two hugely successful seasons with the Brummies which saw them win back-to-back titles.
He notched a maximum for Cradley in their demolition of King's Lynn last week and has also impressed for Championship club Glasgow.
"I've got to be happy with the start I've made and of course it would be nice to keep that going at Birmingham," he said. "It will be strange going back there to be in the visiting side of the pits, I had two great seasons with them."
