Dwyer joins from hometown club Coventry on a 4.05 average and joins Tom Perry, Danny Ayres, Dan Greenwood, Joe Lawlor and Ryan Burton. He admits he's always kept a keen interest in the club since spending time as part of their pit crew when they reformed.

"When I first got into speedway around 2010/11, I used to be mechanic for their former rider Richard Franklin," he said. "I used to look out at the crowds and think 'wow, I'd love to race in front of a crowd like that every week.'

"Everything has come full circle since then and all these years on it's happened and I can't wait to get started.

"It will be good being with Dan (Greenwood) again as well; we get on good after two years at Coventry and he already knows everything about the club too from his time there before so that could help me too."
