Wolverhampton Wolves' scheduled season curtain-raiser at Belle Vue has been postponed.

Friday afternoon's Elite League clash at the new National Speedway Stadium was in doubt because of concerns about the newly-laid track.
Some of the sport's top stars, including Wolves asset and double world champion Tai Woffinden, criticised the surface, which caused the stadium's opening meeting to be called off at the last minute on Saturday.
Bosses at Wolves speedway had yesterday confirmed the trip to Manchester was cancelled.
But the hosts released a statement on Wednesday revealing the fixture could yet go ahead, before the British Speedway Promoters' Association announced this evening the meeting had been postponed.
