Just over a week before their opening meeting with Belle Vue at Monmore on March 28, club sponsorship has reached an all-time high on the back of record-breaking season-ticket sales.

Their main team sponsors – Motor Market of Cradley Heath – have pledged their support for another season through lifelong supporters Adam and Dean Bridge.

Returning hero Ashley Morris visited the Motor Market premises, overlooking the back of the old Dudley Wood Stadium housing estate, at the weekend to thank the duo for their backing.

Wth new club partners joining the club – including Dr Rod Brooks and Dudley Stroke Association – boss Will Pottinger has paid tribute to those who have stepped forward to back the club.

He said: "What people may forget is that the club's future was very uncertain just a few months ago and that makes the news in recent weeks even more pleasing and satisfying."
