Video: Look at Tai Woffinden's back flip!

"It's another thing off my tick list" - Former Wolverhampton speedway star Tai Woffinden has now conquered the back flip!

The double world champion, who was born in Scunthorpe, travelled to the small Australian town of Donnybrook to attempt the feat.

Flawless attempts up the ramp saw him back-flip into a skip full of sponge but, as Woffinden himself told us, "I know what can go wrong" with the real thing.

He need not have worried - he again flawlessly scaled the ramp and back flipped up a hill, landing on top back at his vertical base before riding down the other side.

It was staged at freestyle motocross rider Josh Sheehan's compound and was all captured on camera, including the death-defying final act.

The Great Britain captain rode at Monmore Green from 2009 to 2014, but didn't compete in Britain last year as he concentrated on the world title.

The 25-year-old represents Polish outfit Wroclaw and Swedish team Elit Vetlanda at club level. He's not expected to feature in the Elite League this year.
