Wolverhampton speedway in bid to hit travel form
Wolves speedway boss Peter Adams is looking for points on the road – starting tonight at reigning champions Poole (7.30).
They have dropped too many points at home so far this season and need to claw some back in a busy spell of away outings.
They face four meetings in eight days – after tonight they head to Coventry on Friday, King's Lynn next Wednesday and Swindon on Thursday.
"It's an important spell for us," said Adams.
"We know we have dropped silly points at home and we have to get some back over these four meetings to claw our way back up the table.
"It's going to be a tough schedule with the way the fixtures have fallen but the boys will be up for it."
Tonight's meeting sees a clash between two of the top three riders in the world on current form with joint world championship leader Tai Woffinden up against third-placed Darcy Ward.
POOLE: Darcy Ward, Kyle Howarth, Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Vaclav Milik, Maciej Janowski, Ben Hopwood, Kyle Newman.
WOLVES: Tai Woffinden, Jacob Thorssell, Ricky Wells, Ty Proctor, Piotr Pawlicki, Joe Jacobs, Ashley Morris.
