Woffinden, who is looking for another Grand Prix semi-final appearance in Poland this weekend, was simply unstoppable last night.

Parrys International Wolves have now picked up league points from all of their outings and they continue their schedule at Poole tomorrow.

Coventry had made a team change by bringing in Stuart Robson for Mateusz Szczepaniak but they could find no answer to rock-solid Wolves.

Woffinden set the tone by winning the opening race in the fastest time of the season so far and by the halfway stage they were in control.

Coventry boss Gary Havelock used the tactical ride rule twice to try to keep his side in the match but on both occasions they were thwarted.

New signing Robson was on the wrong end of a 5-1 in heat 8, and in the following race Nicholls could only split the home pairing, as Adam Skornicki took an easy win.

Woffinden (paid), and Freddie Lindgren (full) claimed maximums, while Skornicki showed his best form so far.

It was Ty Proctor, though, who produced the most eye-catching performance. He dropped his only point to an opponent when Robson split the home pairing in heat 1.

Proctor's remaining races all produced 5-1s. In heat 6 he squeezed around the narrowest of gaps between Nicholls and the fence. Nicholls tried to respond, but Proctor took second behind partner Woffinden.

In heat 8 reserve Jacob Thorsell was in the lead, and Proctor picked off Joe Screen, and then snatched second on the line from Robson.

Zengota gated in heat 10, but Woffinden and Proctor went either side of him off the second turn.

Woffinden completed his unbeaten haul in heat 15, with Skornicki passing Zengot as Wolves retained their unbeaten home record.

Wolves 56: Tai Woffinden 14+1, Freddie Lindgren 12, Adam Skornicki 9+2, Ty Proctor 7+3, Ludvig Lindgren 6, JacobB Thorssell 5+1, Ricky Wells 3.

Coventry 36: Michal Szczepaniek 9+1, Grzegorz Zengota 9, Scott Nicholls 6+1, Stuart Robson 6, Krzysztof Kasprzak 4, Aaron Summers 2+1, Joe Screen 0.
