And the 28-year-old reckons his new side can open with a win against Poole in the Knockout Cup quarter-final, first leg at Monmore Green (7.30pm).
Miskowiak joins as six-week cover for broken shoulder victim Nicolai Klindt and has been a regular figure on the British scene since 2005 with Ipswich. But when the Witches dropped down a tier last year, he couldn't find another berth.
"I really missed it last year," he said. "There was something missing from my season. I want to remind English fans who I am.
"It will not be an easy match. But I really like the track. I am looking forward to my first performance – and a win for my new team."
Miskowiak lines up at No.3 in a shuffled line-up which sees Wolves run rider-replacement at four for Tai Woffinden, who has broken a scaphoid bone in his wrist.
Tonight's meeting is the first Knockout Cup match run under new regulations. Among the changes are the chance for a team, first when eight points down and again if trailing by 10, to nominate a rider for a match race. If he wins, the deficit is cut by three – but if his opponent gets the verdict, the scores are unchanged.
Teams alternate choice of gates race by race and the old 13-heat formula is used with the addition of another reserves' race and a nominated scorers heat.
