Stylish Stourbridge ease to victory
Stourbridge turned on the style to clock up a half-century in their latest National League Two North outing.
A clinical display from the Stourton Park men saw then run in eight tries on their way to 50-12 victory over visiting Otley.
Dan Rundle remains as league’s top Try scorer whilst a ‘whole team’ effort entertains the Stourton Park faithful and gives a fitting present to birthday boy Llyr Griffiths!
Stour had the blustery conditions in their favour during the first half and took full advantage to establish a 26-0 lead.
Afeafe Lokotui claimed the first try, with Callum Morris adding the conversion.
Reece Beddows followed with try number two, again converted by Morris. Jack Lea was the next man over the line for Stour, with Morris making it 21-0.
The bonus point was then secured when the division’s leading try-scorer, Dan Rundle, added to his tally.
There was no let-up in the second half, although the visitors did claim two tries, Mark Harrison, Joe Heatley, Rundle and Morris all touched down, with Morris adding another two conversions.
