'The Wanderer' endured double trouble when he was drubbed 6-1 by Dimitri van den Bergh in an abject performance from both,

writes Craig Birch.

Jones only hit one out of 11 attempts at a double to claw a leg back, but it was in vain as the Belgian raced to victory.

The Wednesfield thrower's average finished on a below-par 81.64, with van den Bergh only making 85.15 but hitting over a quarter of his doubles (6-20). Both hit one 180 on the way.

Jones, 51, made the cut for the three-day event at the Multiversum in Scwechat, Vienna, after coming through a qualifier in Coventry last month.
