The leaders won 3-2 at home against Old Wulfrunians thanks to Scott Simpson, Paul Evans and Richard Bate, but Bentley Moor gained a point on them with a 4-1 success at Wednesfield Cons D. Bentley’s Jordan Bannister (45 break) was the stand-out performer and was followed by further victories for Carl Wilkes, Dave Boucher and Phil Bush.

Staying at the bottom end of the table Golden Cue C pulled back a point on Wednesfield Cons D despite losing 3-2 away at Dartmouth Central B. Alan Johnson and John Hutchinson picked up wins for them on the night, but it wasn’t enough as Rob Stone, Steve Blackham and Gary Warner scored for Dartmouth.

Fordhouses CC extended their lead at the top of Division Fove to six points as Roger Lowbridge, Ian Tranter, Chris Evans and Barry Nickolds earned them a 4-1 win at Wolverhampton Electric Club.

Pennfields C hold second after they beat their D side 3-2 thanks to Alan Matthews, Paul Williams and a Roy Blewitt.

The Amery Club, in fifth, won 4-1 at The Royal thanks to Carl Rushton, Wayne Olden, Scott Stratton and Chris Robertson Snr.
