An impressive second-half show saw the West Midlands League Division One outfit to a 3-0 success against Midland League Division Three side Enville Athletic at the Birmingham County FA headquarters in Great Bar.

A keenly-contested first-half saw the respective defences on top as the sides headed in goalless.

Tipton then upped the ante after the break as they started to probe for an opening goal.

And their efforts were rewarded on 53 minutes when Luke Johnson struck to break the deadlock.

That goal brought a response from Enville as they started to put Neil Perks’s side under pressure.

But the Tipton defence stood firm and as their opponents pressed forward, they looked to exploits the gaps left on the break.

And one such swift counter-attack gave Tipton some much-needed breathing space as Max Pashley stormed forward and fired home to make it 2-0 on 72 minutes.

The victory and silverware were sealed seven minutes later when Johnson rounded off another break to complete the scoring.
