Sports have picked up two wins and a draw from their last three league outings and boss Tony Gore has challenged his side to maintain their recent improvement as they embark on a key runs of games.

They host a Pershore side sitting one place off the bottom of the table and four points behind them tomorrow, with fixtures against Bilston Town , Wem, Shawbury and Bridgnorth to follow this month.

"We have hit a bit of form and need to keep it going," said Gore, whose side were 2-1 winners at Shifnal last Saturday. "They are a good bunch of lads who work really hard for each other and we have also added a couple of players which has strengthened the squad and kept everyone on their toes.

"We knew we had some crucial games against sides around us in February and March and that how we got on would determine our season.

"We have Pershore, Wem, Shawbury and Bridgnorth in the next few weeks.

"We are hitting form at the right time and we have picked up some vital points and have games in hand on the sides around us, and also have to play some of those sides."

It's tough when you haven't got a budget.

I think the win at Malvern in the league cup, when we won 3-2 after being reduced to 10 men after 10 minutes, gave the lads some belief.

"We have only lost twice since then.
