Wednesfield Red Lion came roaring back to book their place in the next round of the Birmingham County FA Sunday Vase.
Lion found themselves trailing 2-0 and 3-1 to hosts Parklands CVT in the first half-an-hour but then rallied in fine fashion to run out 5-3 winners, writes Nick Elwell.
Ashley Dicken, with a hat-trick, and Daniel Cresswell, with a two-goal blast, saw them through.

Two late strikes saw visiting Frying Pan edge home 4-3. Hayden Hughes (two), Nick Lewis and Adam Cole found the net for the winners with Ashley Brown, Donovan Mullings and Nicholas Warsop replying.
Craig Smith was in fine form for Hill Top Rangers in their Ken Pemberton Cup clash at Ryan’s Rhinos.
Smith netted four times as Rangers eased to a 7-2 victory. He was joined on the scoresheet by team-mates Winicjusz Zielinski, Kearan Noornai and Joe Wilcox.
It was a memorable day for Concero (formerly Chestnut) as they bagged the first Premier Division point in their 35-year history.
After failing behind to a strike from SWL Spartak’s Andrew Owen, a header from Michael Davies earned Concero a draw.

Second-placed AFC Merry Boys lost ground after being held to a 1-1 draw by Royal FC.
Tettenhall Royal Oak are third after winning 5-2 at Balls to Cancer.
Bradmore Social ran out emphatic winners in their basement battle with Wolverhampton Revolution. Two goals each from Sam Pursall and Abdul Nasri and one apiece from Scott Shortiss and Matt Hough saw Bradmore to a 6-0 win.
Essington WMC cranked up the pressure on Division Two leaders Belgrade.
Two goals from Harnik Bains secured a 2-1 away-day triumph for Essington at Dynamo 50 Stile, who had led through an early strike from Terry Uren.
The win left Essington four points behind Belgrade, who drew 3-3 at Pilot, with a game in hand.
John O’Keefe, Grant Timmins, Jay Dukes and Ben Slater found the net for Barley Mow Wanderers in their 4-1 win at AFC Bradmore. Charlie Besenyei scored for the home side.
Azaad were 3-2 winners against Wednesfield 86 thanks to goals from Mark Webster (two) and Jaspal Bhandal. Wednesfield’s scorers were Brett King and Lewis Stephenson.
Beckham Frazier and Ben Dutton proved too hot to handle as they fired Tipton Town Sunday to victory at home to UTC Collins. Frazier struck four times and Dutton three as Tipton won 8-0. Hayden Beasmore completed the scoring.
Connaught and Golden Lion couldn’t be separated as they battled out a 3-3 draw.
Hosts Connaught struck first through Dan Burns on 25 minutes but Lions levelled courtesy of a penalty from Ben Morris just before half-time.
Burns bagged a second for Connaught on the hour only for Morris to net from the spot again.
Lions nosed in front eight minutes from time when Luke Salter headed home, but there was still time for one late twist with Leon Gordon grabbing an equaliser for Connaught.
There was no change at the top of Division Three as the top two both recorded 4-3 victories.
Leaders Castlecroft saw off the challenge of Ashmore at home while second-placed Summerhill won at Churchill Royal Oak.
ECC Sports claimed a hard-fought 3-2 success at home to Sporting Phoenix United
Craig Foley, direct from a corner, Shawn Edge and Tom Morgan, with the winner, struck for ECC.
Wolverhampton Sports GNST also won 3-2, away to Tettenhall.
Three Cups and AFC Angel both boast six wins out of six in Division Four.
Cups lead the way on goal difference after sweeping aside hosts AE Noahs Ark 12-4.
Angel also enjoyed a comfortable win with goals from Callum Wright (two), Aaron Bailey (two) and Daniel Johnson seeing off Watton Wanderers, 5-1.
Emils Fedotovs was the star turn for GSA Wolverhampton, netting all of his side’s goals in their 3-1 success against Steelmans. Jary Wilson scored for the visitors.
Black Country Fusion are sitting third, three points behind the top two, after inflicting an 8-2 defeat on Health Direct.
Alex Bendall and Lee Onions both struck twice with Steven Falls, James Filkins, Liam Stevens and Reece Mann completing the scoring for Fusion.
Punjabi Wolves and Jacks Bar battled out a 3-3 draw while Saint Michael Sunday beat Woodman Inn 2-1.
