Cup tie proves to be a breeze for Social aces

The Premier Division side were in ruthless mood as they put eight goals without reply past their Division Two hosts.

Dan Scragg struck twice for Yates with Alex Dakin, Ben Marklew, Liam Degville, Lucas Farley, Rhys Morgan and Ryan Wilkins adding the other goals.

Unbeaten Belt Road are setting the early pace in the Premier Division.

They picked up their second win in three outings courtesy of a 2-1 success at Ridware Oak.

Chris Deakin and Danny Meers found the net for the visitors with Jack Turner on target for Ridware.

Brereton Town and The New Talbot shared the points following a 2-2 draw.

Dean Watkiss bagged a brace for Brereton but Kieron Bennett and Louie Mason ensured Talbot headed home with some reward for their efforts.

Mark Wright proved to be the right man in the right place as Yates Sports triumphed in the Division One top-of-the-table clash with Samson Blewitt.

Wright plundered a hat-trick to help Yates to a 4-0 success. Jack Dace also netted for the leaders.

Littleton Arms and AFC Green Heath served up an entertaining 4-4 draw.

Both sides benefitted from an own goal with Stuart Russell (two) and Leon Clifton adding Littleton’s other goals.

Jack Mason, Saul Stocking and Ben Pugh struck for Green Heath.

Brereton Social and Cresswell Wanderers also ended all square but only netted once each – Harry Ansell for the hosts and Rhys Potts for Wanderers.

Strikes from Thomas Renshaw and Ryan Horton saw Norton Canes to a 2-1 success at home to Miners Arms. Ashley Jenkins netted for the visitors.

Victoria and Sporting Burntwood couldn’t be separated as they drew 2-2.

Victoria’s goals came from Ryan Wetherer and David Arrowsmith. Craig Ellis and Albert Fullwood replied.

AFC Cheslyn Hay continue to make hay in Division Two.

They made it five wins from five by inflicting a first defeat of the season on Premier Suite. Teddy Pomroy, Will Morris and Dyllan Hill scored for the leaders. Jimmy Harper found the net for Premier.

Second-placed Five Ways are three points behind after goals from Lee Garrington (two) Luke Shail and Michael Griffiths earned them a 4-2 win over Harrisons.

Jordan Holmes was the star of the show in the clash between AFC Essington and Bridge Inn.

Holmes bagged a hat-trick to help fire Bridge to a 6-1 away-day success.

Dan Bonsall, Aaron Wright and Stuart Stanley added to Holmes’ treble. Ash Norman bagged a consolation for the home side.

BB FC came out on top of a lively clash with Sports Bar FC.

Double blasts from Ryan Garratt and Gurtej Dosanjh plus a single strike from Nathan Lee saw BB win 5-3.

Craig Holland (two) and Nick Hodgkiss were the men on the mark for Sports.

A hat-trick from Adam Green and an effort from Darryl Francis secured a 4-2 win for Winding Wheel at Hawkins Sports.
