The Midland League side reached the FA Cup fourth qualifying round – the one before the first round proper – for the first time in their history two years ago where they were knocked out by FC United of Manchester 3-1 at home.

Rowe said: “If we can emulate something like that again it would be amazing. That is what dreams are made of. But let’s not get carried away.”

Khalsa drew 1-1 with Market Drayton Town in the FA Cup at home on Saturday, forcing a replay at Greenfields.

Marvin Nisbett gave Khalsa the lead around 67 minutes after heading home at the back post from a Callum Cooper cross. But their hard work was undone when they conceded an own goal in the 87 minute off Shawn Boothe.

Rowe added: “It is game we could have done without. It would have been nice if we had got the job done.”

AFC Wulfrunians travel to Westfields for an FA Cup replay tomorrow following a 1-1 draw at home on Saturday.
