Elina Rea on a high after netting Wolves deal
Elina Rea, a 12-year-old pupil at Shrewsbury High School, is one of only three girls to have been offered a contract for the Wolves under-14 girls’ football team.

Rea, who currently plays for the club’s under-12 team, impressed during a trial at the end of last season and is thrilled to have been offered a contracted place in the under-14 team for next season as one of the youngest members of the team.
The Year 7 pupil has always loved playing football and previously played for her local team in Newport and for the county before joining the under-12 girls’ squad at Wolves.
She trains two nights a week in Wolverhampton and has matches every weekend.
