Cotwall End Primary School are top of the class when it comes to netball.

The talented youngsters proved they are quick learners by sweeping all their rivals aside to lift the Dormston Cup.

The year five girls team had only been training with coach Hayley Beech during the summer term to develop their skills and strategies.

The squad consist off Isabelle Horton, Emily Wilkinson, Martha Darby, Lily Clark, Daisy Westwood, Freya Butlin, Emily Sturgeon and Lilli Holmes.

They hit the ground running as they stormed to glory with a perfect record of five wins from five outings.

They started the six-team tournament with a 5-1 success against The Straits before turning on the style to defeat Spring Vale 7-0.

Roberts Primary School were then beaten 4-1 while Foxyards were swept aside 3-0.

A hard-fought 1-0 win over Sedgley rivals Queen Vic completed the clean sweep and secured the silverware.
