Nicknamed 'The Experiment', Wilde improved his record to eight wins and one defeat. Also victorious on the night was Wilde's fellow lightweight Tobias Reid.

Reid, who also trains at UTC Staffs, defeated Frenchman Christopher Sengele by unanimous decision.

Both fighters were given great support as more than 150 fans travelled from the Cannock area.

Head coach at UTC Staffs, Jon Roberts, said: "Both fighters are constantly improving and had great camps for their bouts on FCC 15.

"Tim and Tobias stayed on weight and injury free in a very intense eight-week training camp."

Full Contact Contender promoter and organiser Adam Teh also said: "Tobias and Tim are both fantastic fighters that are very entertaining to watch.
