Brindley ran riot as she netted a staggering seven times, including a hat-trick inside the first 15 minutes, to help Diamonds to a 12-1 away win.

Skipper Charlotte Jarvis struck twice with Elizabeth Palmer also adding a brace. Libby Queen grabbed the other Diamonds goal.

Lichfield Diamonds Under-14s mounted a superb comeback to edge to victory against Sutton United.

The visitors took the lead after volleying home midway through the first period.

But after a number of tactical changes at the break, Jasmine Maudsley and Kelsi Back linked well and centred for Ellie Topham to drag the hosts level.

The same three combined moments later and this time it was Back who netted to complete the turnaround and hand Diamonds all three points.

Walsall Wood Ladies Under-12s remained top of the league with an impressive 3-0 win in tricky conditions at Hednesford Town.

Three first-half goals, courtesy of a Holly Wallbank screamer and a brace from Charlie Tipper, had the points all but secured at half-time as the Wood go marching on at the top.

Walsall Wood Under-14s were also successful with a hard-fought win over Redditch United.

Despite the hosts falling behind to an early goal at Clayhander, they responded through an impressive Chloe Evans free-kick and a striker's instinct goal from Molly Griffiths, who poached the winner.

Wolves Women fell to a 90th-minute equaliser as they were forced to settle for a point against Leicester City Ladies in difficult weather conditions at Keys Park.

Wolves took the lead with 20 minutes gone as Leicester struggled to deal with the hosts' attacking play and the ball fell to Hattie James after a scramble in the box before she coolly poked home.

Leicester restored parity against the run of play just past the half-hour-mark as Sarah Burbidge nodded towards goal. Wolves looked to have cleared but the assistant signalled the ball had crossed the line.

Wolves restored their lead with eight minutes to play when Kim Ratcliffe superbly latched on to a corner and headed home.

But with 90 minutes gone, Wolves suffered a sucker punch after all their hard work in the second half as Janicka poked the ball home to give the visitors an unlikely point.

Gornal Girls Under-15s South battled their way through to the next round of the Central Warwickshire Under-16s Open Cup.

After falling behind to Trysull Tigers, Gornal rallied and clinched a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Chloe Edwards and Kelly Shirley.
