Staffordshire's Richard Mansell in hunt at ISPS Handa World Invitational
A stunning five-under-par second round of 66 fired Staffordshire’s Richard Mansell into contention for golf’s ISPS Handa World Invitational tournament in Northern Ireland.
The Burntwood golfer goes into the weekend in tied ninth position on two under overall. His round included six birdies and an eagle, but he was pegged back by three bogeys.
The 28-year-old still has some work to do catch the leader, Daniel Brown, who goes into the weekend on 11 under par.
The event is played at two separate courses in County Antrim; Galgorm and Castlerock golf clubs on alternate days.
