Vitor Pereira’s side took advantage of a first-half red card for Cherries defender Illia Zabarnyi to claim victory at the Vitality Stadium and move five points clear of the drop zone.
It came after they had given leaders Liverpool an almighty scare in their previous outing, outplaying Arne Slot’s team for much of the second half a week ago and narrowly losing 2-1.
Cunha, who followed up his goal at Anfield by netting the winner on the south coast five minutes after Zabarnyi had been dismissed, told Wolves’ website: “We have this kind of quality and I think the second half against Liverpool showed this.
“We played against the best team in the season right now and we showed we can keep going and have the personality to do what we need to do to win every game in the season.
