An absolutely incredible ending and scenes I haven’t seen at Molineux for a while.

A Pablo Sarabia masterclass, who’d have thought it? Fair play to him though after not really getting a look in this season and someone who’s struggled to adapt to the Premier League since he’s joined.

Hopefully this will be a huge confidence booster for him and he can kick on for us because he definitely has the ability to score goals and create chances.

Although Spurs had some big injuries, when they scored early on I thought it was going to be very difficult to get back into the game. From then on, they literally had nothing else bar maybe two half chances in the second half.

We dug in deep and dominated for the large parts of the second half. Gary O’Neil’s changes worked and fair play to him for that. He’s doing a fantastic job in all fairness and this is another huge three points.

It felt like it was going to be one of those games where our lack of quality in the final third was going to cost us at least a point but the ball from Cunha with the touch and finish from Sarabia to level the game was unbelievable.

At 1-1 I think we all would have been happy with a draw considering we had to come back but to win it last minute was insane. Quick thinking from Tommy Doyle on the free-kick helped massively for the winner, great timing and weight of pass from Sarabia and finished with a deft touch by a man in Mario Lemina who has put in 110 per cent every week in an old gold shirt, he is becoming a cult hero at Molineux.

Fantastic way to go into the international break and hopefully we can really kick on following it because this team has so much fight, determination and quality in it.

Football can change in the most unlikely of ways! In last weeks column I stated how disappointed I was with Wolves after the loss. This weeks match brought the complete opposite, a huge dose of pride!

I think Gaz would have taken three points from the two fixtures, but to lose away last week vs the team bottom of the league and then to win this week vs the team top (almost) of the league, just highlights how unpredictable football is and why we keep coming back again and again and again!

Watching the full time scenes from America and seeing the place go absolutely insane was a fantastic moment! I’m so thrilled for all the fans who were inside the stadium! Football is for the fans and those moments.

About the match, it was a decent performance from us all around. To concede so early was a hammer blow and Semedo really should have never allowed Johnson to get in front of him. But we steadied the ship and stayed in the game, which is what you want to do vs a team like Tottenham.

Although we missed some glaring chances, Sasa and Cunha most culpable, you always knew we might get another. And as the clock rolled past 90 minutes we had Gaz to thank for our equalizer (the stat man needs to credit him with the assist!). His quick thinking and alertness delivered the ball to Toti for a quick throw in and Cunha played a peach of a pass into the on rushing Sarabia. I’m not sure you will see a more well taken goal than Sarabia’s strike! He must have been rehearsing that finish every game he sat the bench with no chance to make an impact, but injuries open up new opportunities and Pablo grabbed his with both hands! What a finish! His perfectly threaded ball for the equalizer was the cherry on top and with no VAR threat this time we could celebrate in pure pandemonium.

Post match comments from the gaffer were enlightening: “To be 12 weeks in, we’re ahead of where we expected to be.” The place really was a shambles when he walked in and full credit must be given to Gaz and how well his coaching staff has done in these first 12 weeks. His CV is growing. We might have the next young and upcoming British manager on our hands. We need to keep him, especially if he keeps Molineux bouncing and people smiling at full time.
