The 20-year-old only joined the club from Ipswich on September but has impressed in the under-21s, scoring twice in October to be nominated for the Premier League 2 player of the month.

First team head coach Gary O'Neil watched on as Chirewa shone at Molineux against PSV and after the attacker travelled with the first team to Bournemouth recently but did not get in the squad, he will have another opportunity tomorrow.

It remains to be seen if he will be given a place in the match day squad to face the Blades, but the prospect is edging closer to a first team chance.
