Wolves boss Gary O'Neil impressed with 'hard-working professional' Jonny Castro Otto
Gary O’Neil is full of praise for ‘hard-working professional’ Jonny Castro Otto despite his lack of Wolves minutes.
The defender was free to leave in the summer but turned down a move to Getafe and another Spanish club and told Wolves he wanted to stay and fight for his place.
His attitude off the field has seen him be rewarded with two cup starts and one Premier League substitute appearance this season and although his opportunities have still been limited, head coach O’Neil has been impressed with how Jonny has conducted himself.
“He trains unbelievably hard every day, even when we don’t do a hard session and he always wants to do more,” O’Neil said.
“He understands where he is at this moment in time but that doesn’t affect his professionalism.
