Matt Doherty: Sky’s the limit for Wolves' Pedro Neto
Matt Doherty admits he is not surprised to see Pedro Neto’s revived Wolves form.
The winger, who joined Wolves in 2019 during Doherty’s first spell at the club, initially impressed before suffering two serious injuries in a short space of time, to his knee and his ankle.
Neto has now started this campaign in electric form with four assists and one goal in six Premier League matches.
After the forward’s superb goal against Luton at the weekend, Doherty says it is no surprise to see the Portuguese international getting back to his best.
“Pedro has always had the ability, he was doing this two years ago, he’s just been unfortunate with injuries that have halted his progress,” Doherty said.
“He seems fit now and the sky is the limit for him. He’s been unfortunate with injuries but we’re starting to see the best of him again.
