Wolves fans to attend fewer games after ticket price rises
The majority of Wolves fans will attend fewer games next season due to match ticket price rises, an Express & Star poll has revealed.
Supporters are now paying up to £63.50 for a Premier League match with that top price coming for category A matches for adults, over-65s, under-21s, 17s and 14s sitting in the centre of the Billy Wright stand during the upcoming 2023/24 season.
That is an increase of £3.50 from last season, with increases across the board ranging from £2 to £3.50 per ticket for adults.
Of the 489 fans that took the poll, 68 per cent said they would attend fewer games next season as a result of the price rises, with 32 per cent saying it would not impact the number of games they go to.
Of those polled, 85 per cent said the price rises were not acceptable, while 89 per cent said £63.50 is too much to watch a Premier League game at Molineux.
