Nathan Judah's Portugal & Ireland Tour Diary - Day 1
That's not the alarm! No way, it can't be! Yep it's 3am - It can only be a Wolves pre-season!
Destination South Korea was shortened slightly and it was back to Portugal for me and the boy wonder.
To be honest, anything other than Benidorm was a win in my book so the early rise didn't feel as painful this time.
Now I'm one of those people who doesn't like to be at an airport any longer than they need to be - two hours is more than enough.
Liam on the other hand would sleep at the airport the night before if he could, just to make sure he's checked in nice and early.
I booked the transport so we arrived on my terms, two hours prior - the sheer angst and pain he was showing in the Uber will stay with me for a long time!
It took us all of 15 mins to check in and get through security - I could have had an extra hour in bed!
LK: Where this all took a turn however, which Nathan conveniently left out, is that I was stranded before we even got through security. Instead of just deleting my boarding passes off his phone and keeping his own (as I had done), Nathan had both of ours and then scanned into security using mine. He then walked off and left me as I scrambled to download his pass to get through! I like to be early and organised, so this was an added stress I didn't need!
The wind and rain of the UK was quickly eradicated as we walked into the 29 degree heat of the Algarve after a rather large wait at passport control!
