Joleon Lescott: Max Kilman ‘can go far at Wolves’
Former Wolves defender Joleon Lescott believes in-demand Max Kilman does not need to exit the club to fulfil his potential.
Centre-back Kilman, 26, has been subject of interest from Italian champions Napoli, whose opening £30million was rejected.
It is understood Napoli are yet to return with an improved formal offer, despite reports in the Italian press. Wolves are thought to be standing firm on their £35m valuation of former non-league defender Kilman and have also offered him a new contract.
Ex-Molineux defender-turned-pundit Lescott, who played more than 200 games for the club between 2000 and 2006, has been impressed with Kilman’s progress.
