The 26-year-old fans' favourite has put pen to paper having returned to action against Leicester last weekend, following ACL surgery and several months on the sidelines.

His fresh deal replaces one which ran until the end of the 2022/23 season – put in place when snapped up from Atletico Madrid for £15million in January 2019.

And Otto, insisting Wolves feels like 'home' to him, said: "I am very happy to give everything back to the pack.

"To the doctors, staff, my teammates, family and friends, and to all of you, the supporters, thank you very much.

"The hard work continues. And now I am pleased to announce that it will continue for longer.

"I have signed a new contract until 2025. So I want to thank all of you, because you are part of this.

"I am very happy here, I feel at home. I hope we will see each other on the pitch soon."

In total, Otto has made 88 appearances for Wolves and scored three goals. He has also picked up three Spain caps since arriving at Molineux.
