Wolverhampton Wanderers' Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio celebrate (PA)

Rui Patricio

Showed sharp reflexes to tip Pepe's strike onto the crossbar in the first half and also got down quickly to deny Saka early on.

Could not do anything about the Arsenal goal. 7

Nelson Semedo

Beaten far too easily by Pepe for the Gunners' opener. Really poor defending from the right-back.

Later played the ball over the top towards Traore which Leno handled outside the area for his red card. 5

Conor Coady

Perhaps could have tried to get out to Pepe a bit quicker for that goal.

Was a bit shaky in the first half but was not pressured too much in the second. 6

Willy Boly

The best of Wolves' defenders on the night, Boly has found consistency again.

Made several headers and looked pretty assured. 7

Max Kilman

Playing out of position, it very much showed in the first half an hour. Kilman was torn apart by Saka and targeted time after time.

Able to enjoy the second half more as Arsenal went down to 10, and then nine. 5

Ruben Neves

Kept his cool from the spot, sending Leno the wrong way in the process.

Looked tidy in possession in the second half, with Wolves' midfield stepping up at long last. 7

Joao Moutinho

An outrageous strike to win it for Wolves. Remarkably, that was his first goal at Molineux.

Moutinho has come in for criticism over the past few months, and rightly so, but he returned to prominence here.

A fantastic moment for him and a far more adventurous performance on the whole. 8

Daniel Podence

Played the well-weighted pass through to Jose which led to the striker being tripped by Luiz, who was sent off, for the penalty.

Still working his way back to full fitness. 6

Adama Traore

Started to kick into gear in the second half and caused Arsenal a fair amount of problems down the right.

Put a lovely, floated cross in which Jose should have got on the end of. 7

Willian Jose

Links up play really nicely. You feel it won't be long before he gets off the mark in gold and black.

Gives Wolves a focal point. 7

Pedro Neto

Really started to get the better of Bellerin after the break and continues to impress.

He always causes problems. 7

Subs

Vitinha (for Podence, 62)

A nice showing from the youngster, who could have got himself a goal towards the end. Carries the ball with flair. 7

Leander Dendoncker (for Neves, 74)

Helped see it through for Wolves. 6

Fabio Silva (for Jose, 90)
