Adama Traore of Wolverhampton Wanderers (AMA)

John Ruddy

A straightforward and, no doubt, pleasing clean sheet for the stand-in keeper.

Has at least another game to look forward to after a night where he did not face a single shot on target. Claimed a few crosses well. 7

Nelson Semedo

His best performance in a Wolves shirt. With Palace sitting off, Semedo made the most of it and displayed great attacking intent.

Seems to be developing an understanding with Traore and, hopefully, can start building some momentum now. Fair play. 8

Conor Coady

Looked solid on the occasions he was called into action, which were not all that frequent. Moved the ball calmly and precisely. 7

Romain Saiss

Was also assured in possession and not troubled hugely by Palace's centre forwards, although the visitors did look a bit more threatening towards the end. 7

Rayan Ait-Nouri

Had a few shaky moments in the first half but it was a steady enough 90 minutes from the young full-back in the end. 7

Ruben Neves

Pulled the strings in the middle of the park. Given time and space by the Eagles, Neves had a field day.

The vast majority of his passes found their target, and he also looked sharp off the ball. One of the top performers. 8

Leander Dendoncker

Great to see him back after a few weeks on the sidelines. His energy and efficiency had been missed.

Denied by a top Butland save in the second half. 7

Joao Moutinho

A tidy showing from the veteran as Wolves, undoubtedly, won the midfield battle. 7

Adama Traore

The man of the match. What a magnificent strike it was from the Spaniard, a goal worthy of winning any game.

Getting off the mark for the campaign will be a huge relief for him.

Really had the beating of van Aanholt before going off with a bit of cramp towards the end.

He was very good at Brighton, but he was even better here. Great to see him getting some consistency again. 9

Fabio Silva

Had two golden chances but saw both of his free headers sail off target. Those are the opportunities that strikers dream of and he has to do better.

Seemed to let those misses throw him off course. Work to be done. 5

Pedro Neto

Brilliant deliveries to set up each of those Silva chances, so should have come away with at least one assist. Busy throughout. 7

Subs

Morgan Gibbs-White (for Traore, 69)

Some useful minutes as the midfielder, having returned from his loan at Swansea, builds towards full fitness. 6

Patrick Cutrone (for Silva, 78)

Like Gibbs-White, will be happy to have got a bit of game time after making a surprise return to the fold. Put himself about. 6

Ki-Jana Hoever (for Dendoncker, 85)
