Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists it is not the time to speak about potential January signings – but says Raul Jimenez is 'improving'.

Nuno's side could choose to dip into the market for reinforcements next month while top scorer Jimenez recovers from surgery for a fractured skull.

But with his focus on tomorrow's clash with Chelsea at Molineux (6pm), he feels it is too early to dwell on that.

"Like you said, it has almost come, so we are almost thinking about it. But not yet," said Nuno.

Wolves are facing Frank Lampard's Blues after Saturday's 1-0 loss to Villa.

They will also be without Joao Moutinho because of the midfielder being sent off for two bookable offences in the defeat.

Nuno felt the second yellow was 'harsh', but they were unable to appeal as it was not a straight red.

On Moutinho and the state of the rest of his team, Nuno said: "It was harsh, but the decision is made and there's no point talking about it.

"Joao isn't going be with us, so another player must come in, but it was a harsh decision.

"We have issues, normal issues, especially with only a couple of days between matches. It's hard. There are small issues."

Nuno, meanwhile, revealed Jimenez again joined his team-mates at Compton for breakfast on Monday morning, as he said: "He is improving.

"He was here today. He had breakfast and a walk around the pitch."

And on if he might be in the stands for tomorrow's game, Nuno added: "He is free to come if he wants but it is a medical decision.
