After a slightly shaky start to the season with the new players coming in, we have found our feet over the last few weeks.

The win against Crystal Palace was the best I’ve seen them play for a long time and it was lovely to see us come up with both goals in the first half.

It was a brilliant game where we took it to them right from the start – we stepped it up and won it fairly comfortably in the end.

There were a lot of positives on the night, including the performance of Pedro Neto who has since been handed a new five-year contract and a first senior Portugal call-up.

Things are going really well for him and it’s testament to the work he puts in week in, week out.

The lad is very busy whenever he’s on the pitch, and a clever player.

You can put him on the left, right or through the middle and he will adapt.

And it isn’t just him either. You can say exactly the same thing about Daniel Podence and Leander Dendoncker, players who are looking to produce going forward and seem to be growing in confidence with each game that comes.

Then, you have got Nuno and Conor Coady getting nominated for the Premier League manager and player of the month awards respectively. It is all really encouraging.

They are heading into today's clash with Leicester in fine fettle and the hosts are in good shape as well, to be fair, having put four past both Leeds and Braga over the

We all know it will be difficult against the Foxes, so if we can keep up the momentum and make it five unbeaten heading into the international break, that will be great.

It would put us in a lovely position in the table, too.

To be honest, I think Nuno and the lads are benefitting from having just one game a week these days.

Being in the Europa League was a brilliant ride, of course, but looking at the positives now, they are having so much more time on the training pitch and the opportunity to study other teams.

That preparation has shown in the performances as of late, looking solid and picking teams off at the right moments.

So, well done to Neto, Nuno and Coady for the recognition they have had.

Fingers crossed, there’s more to come and we carry on moving onwards and upwards.
