Wolves 1 Newcastle 1 - Player ratings
Joe Edwards rates the players as Wolves concede late on to draw with Newcastle at Molineux.
Rui Patricio
Should have done better with the equaliser, no doubt about it.
Did not position his wall right and allowed Murphy to curl it past him at the near post.
He has been one of Wolves' top performers so far this campaign, but that was a clear error. 5
Willy Boly
Not tested that much as Newcastle sat back for most of the game.
Boly did fine but he does not quite seem to be bossing things as much as he used to at the minute. 6
Conor Coady
Vocal, as ever, before he was harshly deemed to have fouled Wilson for the free-kick which was scored by Murphy.
The annoyed Wolves skipper said afterwards he did not think it was a foul, but he will dust himself down and go again. 6
Max Kilman
Kept his place after being awarded a new five-year contract and held his own once more.
Made a well-timed sliding block to deny Wilson in the first half and looked comfortable enough throughout. 7
Nelson Semedo
Better than he was at Leeds. The former Barcelona man started brightly and linked up well with Neto.
His influence waned as the game went on, though. 6
Ruben Neves
Supplied a few pinpoint passes to Semedo in the early going and did alright, but he is not shining as we all know he can.
Still waiting for him to show his best this season. 6
Leander Dendoncker
Keeps things ticking over in the middle of the park and rarely gives the ball away, but a lot of his passes were sidewards.
Newcastle camped deep and the midfielders were mostly unable to find a way beyond them. 6
Romain Saiss
Did a job again at left-wing-back but was unable to trouble the Magpies when he went forward.
Wolves looked more balanced when Marcal came on for Saiss shortly after the hour mark. 6
Pedro Neto
Has probably been the standout player up to yet and, without blowing anyone away, did well again.
Such a positive player when in possession and works hard when out of it, too.
Just needs to brush up on his finishing as Wolves look to score more in the coming weeks. 7
Raul Jimenez
Made it four goals from six games with a superb strike.
His all-round game is a bit off currently, but he is by far and away the main goal threat and so valuable to Wolves. 7
Daniel Podence
Once he starts adding goals to his game, the Portuguese will be a real force.
Forced Darlow into a save and blazed another one over. Fingers crossed, he opens his account for the season soon. 7
Subs
Adama Traore (for Podence, 68)
Went on a few runs. Will be hoping for a start soon. 6
Fernando Marcal (for Saiss, 68)
Offered a bit more of an attacking threat than Saiss. 6
Joao Moutinho (for Neves, 82)
