Wolves youngster Benny Ashley-Seal sold to Northampton
Wolves have sold young striker Benny Ashley-Seal to League One side Northampton for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old will be working under former Molineux man Keith Curle, bringing an end to three years at Molineux.
Having made four senior appearances for Wolves, he has signed a two-year deal with the Cobblers.
"He is a big, strong and powerful striker. We have watched him a few times and seen him in training and there is no doubt that he is a young man who can score goals," said Curle.
"He is only just starting the journey we believe he can go on, but he has had an excellent upbringing in a very good environment and now he is making a step to create his own profile."
Wolves' Carabao Cup second-round clash with Stoke, meanwhile, will take place a week on Thursday at 7pm.
