Steve Bull: It has been a tremendous season for Wolves
I think I speak on behalf of all Wolves fans when I say that I am so proud of what they have done this season.
It has been a tremendous campaign, surpassing the points tally from last season in the league, so we are getting better.
And that is all that matters. We are not the finished article yet, but we are improving year-on-year.
It has been a brilliant season again. It has been disappointing the fans could not be there to see the last few games, but we have got a lot to look forward to.
It is going to be a tough game against Chelsea tomorrow, we all know that, especially as they need to get something from it to get into the Champions League.
If they had already cemented their place, they may have played some of the fringe lads, as they have also got the FA Cup final to think about.
We have had an extra couple of days to prepare for it, but I don’t see that playing a huge part in things.
The fitness staff at every Premier League club are spot-on now, so I don’t think that will matter.
I just think we have got to down there and do what we did in the second half against Crystal Palace.
The first half against Palace was not the best, but it all opened up in the second.
Let’s focus on trying to get the three points, and then focus on the rest of the Europa League.
It would be lovely to cement sixth spot, enjoy this season’s Europa – and then next season’s.
By the way, well done to Albion for getting promoted – even I have to hold my hands up and say ‘fair play’.
They will have to spend a lot of money to do what we have done over the last two years, but it will be nice to have a derby again – and perhaps more than just a couple of minutes on Match of the Day!
Finally, the Beat Bully Trivia app is very much still going, so go and test your quiz knowledge against me and see if you can win a nice prize. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
