Bookmakers have received a flurry of bets for Wolves to finish in the top-four this season.

Currently priced at 8/1, punters have been quick to take the value and back Nuno's men who have a favourable run of fixtures.

Chelsea are currently in pole position to grab fourth spot and are currently available in the betting at 8/13.

Manchester United are next in the market - it's 7/4 that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side finish stronger than their fellow contenders.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “With the Premier League title wrapped up, the only source of intrigue remaining towards the top of the table is the race for the Champions League.

“Frank Lampard's side have occupied fourth spot for a large chunk of the season. But, with the long lay-off sure to impact teams in different ways, it's hard to know whether or not they will hit the ground running - something they must do with so many competitors snapping at their heels.

"It seems that Wolves have flown a little under the radar this season, but they're only five points adrift of Chelsea. A strong start for Nuno's men would put real pressure on the Blues, taking advantage of any slip-ups from those above them."

Wolves kick-off Premier League restart with a trip to 16th-placed West Ham before entertaining Bournemouth (18th) and travelling to Aston Villa (19th).

Top four odds (oddschecker):

Chelsea - 8/13

Manchester United - 7/4

Wolves - 8/1

Spurs - 14/1

Sheffield United - 17/1

Arsenal - 18/1

Everton - 250/1
