Ex-Wolves man Kenny Miller hails trio of golden greats
Former Wolves striker Kenny Miller has put three old gold and black team-mates in his career best XI.
The recently-retired Scot picked the greatest line-up from all those he has played with over the years.
From Wolves – where made 193 appearances and scored 63 goals between 2001 and 2006 – he chose centre-half Joleon Lescott, right-back Denis Irwin and central midfielder Paul Ince.
All the rest of his team were from Rangers, but explaining his Wolves choices, Miller said: “Denis came to us at Wolves in the season we got promoted.
“His career speaks for itself, the level he played at.
“He was a brilliant guy as well, really influential in that back four in that Wolves team. What a footballer. He played both sides but for us he played right-back.
“Incey was a massive influence on my career. He came to Wolves from Middlesbrough at the same time as Denis.
“He was a complete winner, whether it was in training or at cards on away trips. He made you better.”
