Diogo Jota guides Wolves into ePremier League FIFA 20 semi-finals
Wolves are into the semi-final of the ePremier League Invitational FIFA 20 tournament, after Diogo Jota comfortably beat Sheffield United striker Lys Mousset 5-2.
Jota put in a stunning display throughout the game, seeing him earn his semi-final spot after thrashing Leicester City's midfielder Wilfried Ndidi in the previous round.
The Portuguese international (captaining himself) scored a brace including a stunning chip for Wolves' fifth, that had commentators hailing it as goal of the tournament.
The ePremier League Invitational has been set-up, pitting professional footballers against one another alongside a selection of celebrity fans, to raise money for the #PlayersTogether initiative, which was created by Premier League players as a collective way of generating funds for the NHS.
The Wolves forward is a seasoned FIFA 20 player and is the bookies favourite to win the competition.
Jota will face either Brighton's Neal Maupay or Burnley's Dwight McNeill in the next round.
