Youngster Dongda He signs new Wolves contract
Young Wolves striker Dongda He has signed a new deal until 2023 – and now his ‘main goal’ is getting into the first team.
The 18-year-old joined the club from Notts County last summer and has featured several times for the under-23s, scoring a stunner in a 2-0 Birmingham Senior Cup win at Leamington in February.
The China youth international said: “It was a proud and happy moment for me and my family, hearing a few weeks ago that Wolves were going to offer me a new contract – we’re all very happy and excited.
“Coming from a League Two club to the Premier League, there’s a lot of changes, but when I first joined Wolves everyone made me feel very welcome.
“Right now, I’m just working hard, staying focused to get a place in the under-23s squad, so I can start hopefully this season, or even next season. Of course, the main goal is to make my debut for Wolves – that would be a proud moment for me and my family.”
