Former Wolves players dinner delayed
The Wolves Former Players’ Association Annual Dinner has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The event had been scheduled for May 1 and had been due to unveil the latest inductees into the club’s Hall of Fame.
However, under the current health crisis, it has been agreed to delay the date of what is always a hugely popular night for the club’s former players.
A new date for the event will be announced in due course.
Event organiser Richard Green from the WFPA said: “This year’s event will be a Hall of Fame dinner which will celebrate the history of Wolves and see several more club legends inducted.
“The committee will continue to work on the event and look forward to announcing the inductees and a new date for the dinner in the future.”
